Yamaha SeaWing Underwater Sea Scooter Review – The Good And The Bad

The Yamaha SeaWing Underwater Sea Scooter which will be fully reviewed below was actually one of my first sea scooter experiences. I was on a vacation with my wife and we rented a couple of Yamaha SeaWings for a few hours. I loved the look of it, and the power was awesome. I liked it that much that I went ahead and purchased my own once back home.  My wife and I have had so many wonderful weekends using this exact model so I’m very confident in its capabilities.

To sum up

My personal experience with this model was really good.  I found the overall look, feel, power and price point were all spot on.  After looking on amazon and reading over the reviews I was surprised to see a few negative reviews, but this is the case with most products especially newer technology. IMHO some of the negative reviews are almost certainly something the user is doing incorrectly, such as charging the battery far too much or not letting the battery fully run out before placing on charge again.

Lithium-Ion batteries have memory and there are specific instructions on getting the very best out of your battery. Follow the instructions and do as the manufacturer recommends and I can almost guarantee you will have a great experience with your Sea Scooter.

I would personally give this Sea Scooter 4.3 out of 5 stars which is pretty damn good as I have tested a lot of Sea Scooters.
